While it is not always necessary for the attorney to see you immediately after an accident, the earliest possible appointment is highly recommended. Be sure to write down everything you remember and be prepared to answer all the questions the attorney will ask.

Not all injuries from a car accident are immediately evident. Your attorney may require you go to a doctor and may request test or x-rays immediately after the accident. Follow through and complete all required appointments.

Once you select an attorney and pay a retainer you have hired the attorney. If you are not satisfied with your attorney be aware they may or may not have to return some or all of the retainer, be sure to choose someone you want to work with and not the first attorney you speak with.
